About the Teacher...


Dr. Wilbur L. Brower has had a wide range of experiences, including the U. S. Air Force, an executive in a Fortune 100 Corporation, his own Management Consulting and Training Company, W. Brower & Associates, and in education. He is the author of several books, including A Little Book of Big Principles—Values and Virtues for a More Successful Life (1998); Me Teacher, Me…Please!—Observations about Parents, Students and Teachers, and the Teacher-Learning Process (2002); and Grammar and Writing Made Simple (2009). He has been published in Harvard Business Review (Nov.-Dec. 1996), Cultural Diversity at Work (January, 1997, Vital Speeches of the Day (Feb. 15, 2000)

Dr. Brower is an avid reader; he also writes poems, short stories and educational raps. He has a passion for learning and the development of the mind.

Dr. Brower is a product of North Carolina Public Schools, and is a graduate of Johnsonville High (Cameron, NC). Dr. Brower is also a graduate of Barber-Scotia College (Concord, NC), Suffolk University (Boston, MA), Walden University (MN), and Kennedy-Western University (Cheyenne, WY). He also did post-graduate work at the New School University (New York, NY).
